A person could be at risk of getting kidney disease if he/she :

• Suffer from diabetes
• Has high blood pressures
• Is obese
• Over the age of 50 and above
• Kidney disease that runs with family history

Other disease that could also affect kidneys is:

• Nephritis (kidney inflammation)
• Diabetes
• High  blood pressures
• Kidney scaring (normally caused if urine backflow from bladder)
