How to prevent Bladder Infection (Cystitis)
Research has found out that drinking cranberry juice will reduce the risk of getting bladder infection and also prevent it from recurring. It is best to consult with your GP before drinking cranberry juice especially when the person is using blood-thinning medicine.
Creams which contain oestrogen can be use to apply directly to the vagina for those whom has just been through menopause. This will reduce the risk of bladder infection (Cystitis)

Below are some other methods which could help prevent bladder infection (cystitis):
- Best to urinate after sexual intercourse
- Drink plenty of water
- Suggestion of wearing loose clothing
- Practice the method of wiping from front to back after “toileting”
- Do not try to hold when there’s need to urinate
