Self-Help Treatment for Bladder Infection (Cystitis)
Bladder infection (cystitis) can normally be treated by this approach:
- The person may take some painkiller over-the-counter, such as panadol or paracetamol. It is advisable to read the leaflet and consult with the pharmacist first.
- Drinking a glass of water or consuming any product which contain potassium citrate or sodium bicarbonate of soda will reduce the acidic level or your urine.
- Always consume a lot of water to help flush out the bacteria
